Returns & Refunds Policy

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all purchases made through the Little Ideas website littleideas.net.

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Your Right to Cancel (UK & EU Customers)

If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom (or where applicable under similar consumer protection laws), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without providing a reason.

This is known as the cooling-off period.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing (e.g. by email) within the 14-day period.


2. Conditions for Returns

Returned items must:

  • Be unused

  • Be in original condition

  • Be returned in original packaging where reasonably possible

We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of use, damage, alteration, or wear beyond what is necessary to inspect the product.


3. Items Not Eligible for Return

For hygiene, safety, and consumer protection reasons, we do not accept returns for the following items where permitted by law:

  • Fragrances, air fresheners, car perfumes, or scented products that have been opened or unsealed

  • Hygiene-sensitive products once opened or used

  • Towels, cloths, microfiber items, or similar products that have been washed or used

  • Personal care or health-related items once unsealed

  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper handling

  • Any item returned outside the applicable return period

These exclusions do not apply where an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.


4. Return Process

Include:

  • Your order number

  • The item(s) you wish to return

  • Reason for return (optional, unless faulty)

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.


5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

  • We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.


6. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item

Refunds will include the cost of the item and the standard outbound delivery charge (where required by law).

We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount if the returned item has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it.


7. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • Faulty

  • Damaged on arrival

  • Incorrect

Please contact us as soon as possible with details and, where applicable, photographic evidence.

In these cases:

  • We will cover return shipping costs

  • You may choose a replacement or full refund

Your statutory rights are not affected.


8. International Orders

International customers may be subject to different return rights depending on local laws.

  • Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are non-refundable

  • Return shipping costs for international orders are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty


9. Refund Method

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
We cannot issue refunds to alternative payment methods.


10. Abuse of Returns Policy

We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds where we reasonably believe the policy is being abused, including repeated excessive returns or misuse of products.
